InnoMind Technologies and TiE Kerala has taken an initiative to promote sales ecosystem in kerala for startup and growth stage companies across kerala by conducting a sales workshop on October 10 th 2014. Startup Sales guru Mr Balaji Chakravarthy who has been a start-up sales leader right from the beginning of his career of 20 plus years (12 plus years as VP of Sales) of experience in the IT industry was invited to do a workshop on “SALES FOR STARTUPS – HOW TO GET YOUR FIRST FEW CUSTOMERS AND SCALE UP THEREAFTER”.
Mr.Balaji is the founder of ScoVelo Consulting and he has worked in 3 Start-ups, acquired the first customer for his organizations 8 times, innovated and scaled a tele-sales model to sell software services on the phone, and has built sales organizations from scratch many times over in his career in multiple markets. Balaji has done multiple workshops across multiple chapters of TiE and Nasscom across the country in evangelizing the concept of Consistent Sales Engine for companies of multiple size and is also associated with Incubators/Accelerators such as CIIE – IIM A, Village Capital, Founder Institute, Times of India – TLabs, CIBA – Goa, ISB – DLabs as a Sales Mentor.Balaji teaches Marketing (Visiting Faculty) at NIT Kozhikode and have done workshops across IIM Bangalore(Eximius) , IISc Bangalore, Great Lakes – Chennai , Symbiosis (SIMS) and TAPMI – Jaipur to the students on B2B Marketing/Sales.
The Workshop was attended by over 40 delegates from various industries across Kerala.Mr.Sumit Balan gave the Welcome address and Wing Commander K.Chandrasekar addressed the gathering and also spoke about TiECon 2014 which will be held on December 5th and 6th this year. Event was a great success and Mr.Balaji shared his experience,expertise and wisdom with the participants and Mr.Sumit Balan gave the vote of Thanks and announced that there will be another workshop in November by Balaji on “HOW TO SCALE UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL AND SET UP A SALES TEAM”.
